The delegation, headed by former Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan, held talks for half an hour with soldiers who seized power on August 18, including new strongman colonel Assimi Goita, an AFP journalist said. Tout est parti, selon le régime de Goita du refus qui est opposé d’assurer la présidence de cette organisation régionale formée avec la Mauritanie, le tchad, le Burkina fasso et le Niger. La conférence des chefs d’Etats du G5 Sahel pour passage de témoin entre le tchad et le Mali initialement prévue en février dernier, n’a jamais pu se tenir. Le 15 mai, hier, avait été fixé comme date -butoir.
